I am currently undertaking a PhD in the School of Museum Studies at the University of Leicester, in which I am exploring what community engagement practices look like in museums in England during the financial cuts, and how museums can work in new ways to become more resilient.

I gained a Distinction in Heritage Studies from the University of Salford and a First Class Honours degree in History from Lancaster University.
