Laura Crossley

I am a museums and cultural consultant specialising in helping organisations become more resilient through audience development, programming, evaluation, and income generation.

I can help with audience development and interpretation strategy; audience and stakeholder consultation; activity planning; evaluation; funding applications; and future visioning. I also provide bespoke training.

I am currently undertaking a PhD in the School of Museum Studies at the University of Leicester, in which I am exploring what community engagement practices look like in museums in England during the financial cuts, and how museums can work in new ways to become more resilient.

I am a co-founder of the Museum Freelance Network, Co-Chair of the Women Cultural Leaders East network, and a Museum Mentor. I have spoken at conferences and events across the UK, Europe and North America.
