Both her articles (a thoroughly-researched case study on planning museum sleepovers; and a guide to setting up a one-day festival from first principles, written in pirate language) are still very popular reading.
When I was looking for speakers to discuss the possibilities of Museums at Night city-wide events for the benefit of an audience of Town Centre Managers and Visit England Destination Managers, Laura immediately sprang to mind: she gave an excellent presentation and in the troubleshooting Q&A session that followed, made some very useful suggestions.
